Zombie Love Songs

My buddy, Shawn Pike, and friends made a lovely Zombie love song and even made a lil video for it.  Rad.

On the homefront, we found a place to live!!! It's in North Portland off Interstate and Lombard. It was two rooms with an extra lil room we are going to turn into an office of sorts. But the kicker for me was the biggo garage that I get to turn into a studio space. Having a ton of extra room is going to be nice.

I'm working on my new samples to show Marvel at Emerald City Comic Con at the end of the month. Bruce Banner is on trial in Atlantis and Namor is just a lil pissed. But when isn't Namor a lil pissed? Right? Dude's got issues. But then again, so does Bruce, King of Emo. Lots of emotions to draw.

Once we get moved in and I get my studio set up I have one more commission to do, a fun one.  Then depending on how things go with Marvel, it's going to be paint time for me!!  Of course, I'm hoping for the best from The House of Ideas, but I haven't tried to push my paintings since I graduated college years ago.  With a studio I will be able to work on multiple paintings at once and have enough for a couple shows by the end of the year.

AND, in the meantime, get back to writing my own comic.  It is going to be painted as well so it will be good to brush up my painting chops before I delve in.

I am also going to build a Kitty Castle for my lil furry buddies.  They need a place to stay at night so I can get some sleep of my own. Love those lil girls, but I also love the soft embrace of slumber.
